Teaching Experience and Achievements

Throughout her time teaching at The Learning Lab and privately tutoring, Cheryl has made use of her diverse skill sets to cater to the various learning styles of students.

Especially so, her dedication has yielded remarkable results, where on average, graduating students one term away from National Exams improve by 2 to 3 grades after joining Tutor Cheryl’s classes.

My teaching approach focuses on cultivating a deep understanding of concepts through practice and thoughtful reflection. I encourage students to attempt questions independently and engage in discussions about their mistakes, fostering critical thinking and meaningful learning. Additionally, I prioritize creating a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance, building trust and confidence in their learning journey.
