Glendon's influence on A-level students is noteworthy, with a 70% distinction rate for H2 and an impressive 80% for H1 Biology. Remarkably, he achieved close to 100% value-add for successive class cohorts. In the IP realm, his higher-achieving classes secured close to 80% A and A* in final exams, while others witnessed substantial improvements, with most students advancing by 3 to 4 grade bands (25 to 35 marks improvement).

I attended the sept holiday crash course for JC1 biology, taught by Mr Glendon and it was really helpful as Mr Glendon was able to explain the topics clearly, making it easy to follow along with his lesson. Remembering the different H2 Biology concepts also became alot easier as Mr Glendon used analogies and relatable life examples to help us understand them, including giving us many helpful mnemonics ! Overall, Mr Glendon’s crash course significantly boosted my confidence in managing the overwhelming amount of content in the H2 Biology syllabus and tackling bio qns became much easier too.

As a student who struggled with biology at JC1, I decided to attend the Bio June Crash Course under Mr Glendon and I must say that it definitely boosted my confidence in biology. Although I am not in the regular classes for JC biology, I could still follow along during the lessons in the crash course and understood concepts much better. The tutor explains the concepts in a succinct manner that is easy to understand and is enthusiastic in answering any doubts by the students. Moreover, the free curated notes provided structures the content really well in order to relate the heavy content to possible A level type questions and the notes are definitely worth revising with before exams. The standard of teaching in OVERMUGGED is definitely exemplary and never fails to disappoint in terms of their quality of teaching. After the June Crash Course, I have become more motivated to study for biology as I now know how to analyse question types (even the toughest ones) and apply the relevant knowledge in order to score well for my exams. This is a great contrast to my situation before joining the crash course as I used to be unclear on how to tackle application questions and found the content of H2 biology daunting, causing me to fail my biology WA1 in JC. OVERMUGGED crash courses really help a lot in addressing various loopholes students may have in terms of conceptual understanding and the materials provided are really relevant to school standards which thus pushes us to score better during our exams!!! :)
