Teaching Experience and Achievements

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Shafiq specialises in O Level/IP Chemistry and A Level H1 and H2 Chemistry.

​

During his tenure at a renowned tuition centre in Singapore, he taught over 200 students, many of whom achieved remarkable progress under his guidance.​

 

Approximately 80% of his students scored distinctions in their national exams, with most improving by at least three grades from their school exams to their final results.

About me

I understand that Chemistry can be a challenging subject and hence, I place emphasis on helping students build a solid foundation of understanding, avoiding rote memorisation and oversimplification of concepts.​

 

My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a deep comprehension of Chemistry, encouraging students to ask questions and actively engage in the learning process, allowing me in turn to tailor my teaching methods to help each child succeed.
